ABOUTGrace was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 2017, admitted to the legal profession in Victoria in 2019, and called to the Bar in 2026. She accepts briefs in migration law, public and administrative law, criminal law, child protection law, and family law. She has a strong interest in human rights and public international law.
Prior to joining the Bar, Grace was a refugee and protection officer with the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where she determined refugee and protected person status by applying immigration legislation, international human rights instruments, and other relevant domestic and international law. Before that, she was a legal and research advisor at the Ministry of Justice, where she provided legal research and advisory support to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal on refugee, immigration, deportation, and international human rights law matters. She also practised as a solicitor in commercial disputes and insolvency. Grace holds a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley with a specialisation in international law. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington. She was awarded the Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia to study on exchange in South Korea.
